Maxatec launches its own high speed clamshell receipt printer, the Maxatec MD-500 Impact Dot Matrix Clamshell Receipt Printer.
Andrea Percival, director of Maxa Technologies (Maxatec) said: “In the current demanding marketplace, dot matrix receipt printers need to be super efficient, fast and cost- effective, so we had to produce something exceptional to answer these needs. The MD-500 is ideal for receipt printing in the retail and hospitality sectors, and is ideal for use as a kitchen printer. It is a robust, high performance impact receipt printer which is very easy to use.”
Maxatec has just released the new TSC 245 and 2410 Plus range of bar code label printers. The new Plus series bring even more versatility to the durable and reliable TSC range of bar code label printers.
The TSC TDP and TTP 245 Plus bar code printers are equipped with enhanced electronics, 2MB flash, 8 MB DRAM and a slot SD card that users can inexpensively expand FLASH storage up to 4 GB. The printer is also equipped with a 32-bit processor for label processing and throughput, at a print speed up to 5 ips with a 203 dpi resolution.
The New Range includes silent fanless products.
Andrea Percival, director of Maxa Technologies (Maxatec) said: “This new range of POS terminals will allow us to enter the Hospitality market now as well as the retail sector. The fanless option is a great addition to our range of terminals and the product we are bringing to market is extremely powerful and richly populated with communication ports. We are concentrating on the GT, GFT and Fanless PC Box products initially. The terminals are highly specified, with great functionality and the three year warranty will offer our customers a very tempting package!”
Andrea Percival, director of Maxa Technologies (Maxatec) said: “Following the successful launch of the MT-40 in-vehicle receipt printer, we are really excited to release the desktop version, the MT-41. The MT-41 has all the same features as the MT-40, including high speed printing, clamshell paper loading and a compact footprint.”
Percival continued, “The MT-40 and 41 are quite unique in the receipt printing market given that they have a print width of 60 mm and a print speed of up to 120 mm/sec. They have been designed with robustness in mind, and can withstand the rigours of many harsh environments. We are continuing to roll out a major project in Europe, and already have several other parties interested in this product set.”
