January 6th, 2014
Product News

Altrincham, 06 January 2014 : Maxatec is responding to retailers who are looking for suitable wireless printing solutions to use with Apple iPad systems. With the advent of iOS in retail the obstacle has been the ability to print directly at the point of service. With the Maxatec MT-200E desktop WiFi printer, the bottleneck has been cleared enabling retailers to enhance service levels, which is increasing footfall and business.

“One of the issues with iOS retail applications has been printing a receipt or copy of the customer transaction at the point of service. The mobile devices run software applications that are detached from the main EPOS network, but we’ve solved the problem by working closely with our printer technology partners and we can offer a range of desktop and portable printers available with iOS software development kits,” says Steve Berry, Director, Maxatec.
